Mad to Live!

Now, On the Road is not everyone’s favorite. I think that after a while, the book seems to drag on. But Keroac new how to create beautiful imagery every once in the a while, the above being the perfect example.

And the while the passage is beautiful and well crafted, it speaks to us, at least the idea it purports. It speaks of a community of artists who never settle, who never slow down– who are always creating, always doing. As writers, actors, artists, film makers and more– that the community we want to be a part of.

I have my eye on the how the community of artists works and how art effects people.
